Xanthelasma palpebrarum (Xanthos-Elasma): There are normolipemic and hyperlipemic xanthelasmata.
Treatments:
- Surgery: Cutting out
- laser
- electrocautery
- eating agents such as trichloroacetic acid: depending on the size and thickness of the lesions: 35 à 50 à 75%-up to 100%, 1 or 2 treatments are sufficient Usually.
CAUTION: Protecting eyes!
side effects: hyper-pigmentation, depigmentation, scars.
